Hi, my name is John Wakelin and welcome to my website.
I'm a classical guitarist based in Auckland, New Zealand and am available for performing engagements and guitar lessons. I have a Masters degree with first class honours in classical guitar performance, and have over 10 years teaching experience. If you are interested in having me play at a function or event, or are interested in guitar lessons, please feel free to contact me. I teach all students, beginners to advanced, young & old - all are welcome. The guitar lessons are held at several locations throughout Auckland, including Botany, St. Heliers, Meadowbank, & One Tree Hill.
